Job Overview:
The Supply Chain and Procurement Manager will oversee the procurement, storage,
and distribution of raw materials required for a biodiesel plant. 

This individual will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing raw material a
cquisitions from multiple suppliers across different locations. 

The role also includes organizing the logistics
of bringing these materials to a central storage location, managing storage
costs and maintenance, and selling the materials to various locations as required.

Key Responsibilities:
Raw Material Procurement:
Source various types of raw materials needed for the biodiesel plant,
including agricultural residues, animal fats, and other renewable resources.
Identify and maintain relationships with multiple suppliers across various geographic locations.
Research and find new, innovative raw materials that can be used for biodiesel production.

Negotiation and Cost Management:
Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for raw materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
Monitor and track market trends for biodiesel raw materials to stay competitive.
Develop strategies for cost reduction and optimization of procurement processes.

Logistics and Coordination:
Oversee the transportation and delivery of raw materials from various suppliers to the designated storage location.
Coordinate with logistics teams and third-party transport providers to ensure timely and efficient movement of materials.
Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce delivery times and costs.

Ensure proper maintenance and upgrading of the storage facilities when necessary to meet business needs.

Sales and Distribution:
Oversee the sale and distribution of raw materials to various buyers and different locations.
Ensure the delivery of raw materials to customers is carried out smoothly and on time.
Manage customer relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction in terms of product quality and delivery performance.

Inventory and Maintenance  Management:
Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure materials are stored efficiently and tracked accurately.
Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure storage facilities and equipment are properly maintained and up to date.

Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on procurement, storage, and sales activities for upper management.
Maintain all necessary documentation for procurement, logistics, and sales transactions.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business  Admin
