Job Purpose:
We are seeking an Embedded Engineer forDesign, Development, Testing, and Validation of PCBs for UAV /UAS projects. You will work closely with our team to troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues, perform rigorous testing, and enhance product performance. This role requires a strong understanding of embedded systems, PCB design, and microcontroller programming.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop multi-layer PCBs for cutting-edge hardware applications.
Work with microcontrollers and firmware (Betaflight, Ardupilot) for flight control applications.
Plan, test, simulate, and debug PCBs using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
Perform validation tests on electronic components, products, and systems to ensure reliability and functionality.
Troubleshoot and refine hardware and firmware during the development phase.
Develop firmware for custom PCBs while ensuring optimal performance.
Analyse and interpret test/simulation data to identify areas for improvement.
Apply electronics theories, testing methodologies, and procedures as per project requirements.
Integrate and optimize hardware with existing drone systems.
Create and configure software solutions for seamless hardware integration.
Perform product testing and calibration following defined procedures.
Interpret schematics and conduct repairs on PCB boards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in embedded systems, PCB design, and microcontroller programming.
Expertise in designing and fabricating multi-layer PCBs.
Proficiency in using hardware testing and debugging tools.
Experience with hardware-software integration for electronic systems.
Hands-on experience with soldering, PCB assembly, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with drone flight controllers and related electronics.
Previous experience with drones, flight controllers, or related embedded systems (preferred).
