Service Manager – Industrial Equipment (Onsite) Position: Service Manager Department: Service / Operations Location: Industrial Area, Faridabad Reporting To: Owner
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the onsite service team, including technicians, engineers, and support staff. Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance, installation, and repair of industrial equipment. Ensure timely response to breakdowns, service requests, and preventive maintenance. Coordinate with customers to ensure service quality, safety, and satisfaction. Maintain and monitor service KPIs, reports, and documentation. Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and other materials for onsite service. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, operational standards, and company policies. Provide technical guidance and training to service technicians. Liaise with vendors for equipment servicing, spare parts, and technical support.
Mandatory Skills & Requirements Proven experience in managing onsite service teams in industrial equipment/ machinery. Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment and material handling. Ability to manage multiple service calls, preventive maintenance schedules, and team allocation. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Experience in team management, reporting, and client handling. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or relevant field.
Preferred Skills Knowledge of cranes, forklifts, Reach truck conveyors, or other material handling equipment. Experience in industrial safety and compliance management. Ability to train and mentor technicians for skill enhancement.
