Job description Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain and control quality system documentation as per ISO 9001:2015
Prepare, review, and update Control Plans, Inspection Plans, and Check Sheets
Ensure traceability records for in-process and final inspection
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA documentation
Prepare and close customer complaints (8D, CAPA reports)
Maintain PPAP / APQP documents where applicable
Support internal, customer, and certification audits
Ensure calibration and records of gauges, instruments, and measuring equipment
Maintain final inspection and quality gate documentation
Train inspectors on inspection standards and documentation compliance
Customer Interaction
Handle day-to-day quality communication with customers
Support customer visits, audits, and concern closures
Ensure timely response and action on customer feedback
Preferred Candidate Profile
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering 5-10 years of experience in automotive quality
Strong exposure to Press Shop / Welding / Final Inspection operations
Hands-on knowledge of gauges, fixtures, inspection methods, and drawings
Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 / Tier-2 auto suppliers
Ability to take ownership of quality gates, not just report issues
Strong problem-solving and shop-floor coordination skills.
