Job description
Roles & Responsibilities Plant Head

Overall responsibility for plant operations, production, quality, and delivery
Plan and control press shop, welding, fabrication, and assembly operations
Coordinate internally to meet customer delivery and quality expectations
Support customer visits and build long-term business confidence
Ensure on-time delivery as per customer schedule
Drive productivity, OEE, and cost reduction initiatives
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality systems
Reduce rejections, rework, and customer complaints
Manage manpower planning, discipline, and skill utilization
Lead new product trials, SOP readiness, and smooth launches
Coordinate customer audits and internal reviews
Ensure safe, disciplined, and efficient shop-floor operations

Preferred Candidate Profile Plant Head
Mechanical / Production Engineer with 10+ years in automotive manufacturing
Strong command over sheet metal stamping, welding (manual & robotic), and fabrication
Hands-on experience handling OEM customers, audits, and quality escalations
Ability to control manpower, reduce attrition, and enforce shop-floor discipline.
Track record of cost reduction, productivity improvement, and rejection control
Execution-driven leader who takes end-to-end ownership of plant performance
