Role To lead complete plant HR operations, ensure stable manpower availability, discipline, statutory compliance, and build long-term contractor & workforce relationships supporting uninterrupted production.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure daily manpower availability as per production requirement (direct & contract)
Develop and manage a strong contractor network with long-term manpower stability
Anticipate manpower shortfalls and manage contingencies proactively
Enforce discipline, attendance, shift timings, and shop-floor behavior
Lead recruitment, deployment, and retention of shop-floor & staff manpower
Handle all labour law compliances (CLRA, PF, ESIC, Factory Act, wages, registers)
Act as the single point owner for audits, inspections, and statutory authorities
Manage HR team covering time office, payroll inputs, contractors, and compliance
Drive HR systems, policies, and accountability across departments
Maintain healthy employee & contractor relations to avoid disruptions
Preferred Candidate Profile
Graduate / Post Graduate in HR / IR / Labour Laws
Minimum 8+ years in plant HR (automotive preferred)
Experience managing contractors, inspections, and audits
Hands-on, plant-oriented, and ownership-driven
