New Product Development Engineer for Rubber Hoses.

Responsible for development and improvement of rubber radiator hoses and related rubber products for Automotive, Railways, and Defence applications.
The role focuses on new product development, process improvement, customer approvals, and technical leadership across two plants.

Key Responsibilities
Lead new product development (NPD) of rubber radiator/coolant hoses as per customer specifications.
Develop and improve rubber compounds, hose designs, and constructions.
Ensure compliance with OEM, RDSO, Defence, ISO / IATF standards.
Coordinate prototyping, trials, testing, and customer approvals (PPAP/APQP).
Work with production and quality teams to improve processes, reduce cost, and increase yield.
Support sales and business teams with technical inputs, RFQs, and feasibility studies.
Handle technical discussions with customers, Railways, and Defence agencies.
Lead and mentor R&D and development teams across both locations.

Key Requirements

B.Tech / M.Tech in Polymer / Mechanical Engineering
12–18 years experience in rubber hose or automotive rubber product development
Strong knowledge of rubber compounding, hose manufacturing, and testing
Experience with Automotive OEMs, Railways (RDSO), or Defence projects
