POSITION OVERVIEW
The Production Coordinator is a critical technical role that translates sold jobs into production ready
documentation for the client factory in Australia. You will process every manufacturing job
through specialised nesting software, prepare preliminary purchase orders, produce or refine
production drawings for complex custom jobs, and act as a key link between the client sales,
production, and purchasing teams.

The role demands strong numerical and spatial reasoning, excellent attention to detail, and the
confidence to ask clarifying questions and flag issues early. Manufacturing experience is
welcomed but is not essential. CAD literacy and the ability to read and interpret architectural
drawings are highly valuable and will shortcut your ramp up considerably

Nesting and Material Optimisation
Production Drawings for Complex Custom Jobs
Preliminary Purchase Orders
Sales Liaison and Feasibility Assessment
Quality and Accuracy
Turnaround and Availability

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Communication (most important)
• Excellent written English at business professional standard
• Excellent spoken English with clear pronunciation, comprehension, and confidence on phone and video calls

Basic Technical
• Comfortable with Windows, email, and file management
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Able to pick up specialised software quickly with structured training

HIGHLY DESIRABLE
CAD skills (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for creating and editing production drawings of complex custom jobs
