Job Description:
Responsible for overall maintenance, uptime, and reliability of all plant equipment including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic power presses, and utilities (air compressors, DG sets, cooling systems, etc.).
The role involves planning preventive maintenance, handling breakdowns, managing spare parts, and ensuring safety compliance across all shop floors.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all machines and utilities.
Attend and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic breakdowns of press machines and welding equipment.
Maintain TIG & MIG welding sets, pneumatic tapping machines, and robotic welding lines (if applicable).
Monitor performance and ensure minimum downtime of production equipment.
Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure availability for critical machines.
Plan and execute annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) for utilities and major equipment.
Coordinate with vendors for machine repairs, calibration, and service activities.
Prepare and maintain maintenance records, checklists, and breakdown analysis reports.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and safety standards during maintenance activities.
Implement kaizen / improvement projects for energy saving, efficiency, and machine reliability.
Lead and train the maintenance team for skill improvement and safety awareness.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 3–8 years in maintenance of press shop and welding equipment.
Strong knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Exposure to fabrication / automotive component manufacturing industry preferred.
Hands-on experience in maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and team handling
