Job Descriptions
Prepare cost sheets (RM, labour,machine, overhead)
Calculate standard cost per product/SKU
Maintain BOM with production & R&D teams
Track material costs (PP film, foil, resin, etc.)
Calculate labour cost & machine hour rate (MHR)
Maintain cost centres (production, quality, admin, etc.)
Allocate costs using machine hours, labour hours, etc.
Classify direct cost, overheads & period cost
Track department-wise expenses monthly
Calculate overhead absorption rates (OAR)
Track over/under absorption
Classify fixed & variable overheads
Compare budget vs actual overhead
Analyze material, labour & overhead variances
Prepare monthly variance reports
Identify reasons & suggest corrective actions
Coordinate with production & purchase teams
Support pricing decisions & tenders
Prepare profitability reports(SKU/customer)
Calculate margins (gross, net, contribution)
Identify loss-making products
