Job Profile 
We are looking for a seasoned Project Engineer with deep domain expertise in glass and demountable partition systems —
spanning brands such as JEB, Alloy, DECO, Saint-Gobain, Red Plus, DORMA, and equivalents.
The ideal candidate will bridge technical design, BOM optimisation, project coordination, and vendor management,
while driving operational efficiency across multi-project environments.

Optimisation — of material, cost, and process — is a core expectation of this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product & Technical Knowledge
Demonstrate thorough understanding of glass partition systems  — frameless, framed, acoustic, and demountable variants
Apply working knowledge of system components across leading brands (JEB, Alloy, DECO, Saint-Gobain, Red Plus, DORMA, etc.)
Stay updated on new product specifications, hardware, and glazing solutions in the partition industry

Design & CAD Proficiency
Interpret architectural drawings, floor plans, and client layouts with accuracy
Prepare and modify partition layout drawings using AutoCAD
Coordinate with A&D consultants and PMC teams on design validation and design changes
Develop detailed shop drawings and technical submittals for client approvals

BOM Generation & Optimisation  ? Critical
Extract Bill of Materials (BOQ/BOM) from layouts based on system specifications
Critically review and optimise BOMs generated by the design team to eliminate waste and reduce material cost
Cross-check material take-offs against project scope, client PO, and annexures before dispatch
Maintain and update material optimisation logs across projects for continuous improvement

Dispatch, Invoicing & Documentation
Prepare material dispatch forms aligned to project-wise dispatch schedules
Coordinate invoicing of material in strict accordance with client POs and annexures
Maintain project documentation — submittals, delivery challans, GRNs, and punch lists
Liaise with accounts and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely billing

Project Coordination & Site Management
Manage project managers and site supervisors under your charge across concurrent partition projects
Undertake complex and large-scale partition projects independently — managing timelines, quality, and client expectations
Conduct regular site visits to monitor installation progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure workmanship standards
Drive project closures — snag resolution, As-Built drawings, and client sign-off

Vendor Management & Procurement Support
Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors for partition hardware, glazing, and fabrication components
Negotiate with vendors on pricing, lead times, and quality benchmarks
Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to project delivery schedules

 CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Experience
4–8 years of hands-on experience in the glass / demountable partition industry

Demonstrated exposure to brands: JEB, Alloy, DECO, Saint-Gobain, Red Plus, DORMA (or similar)
Prior experience in BOM optimisation and material cost control is mandatory
Experience managing a team of project managers and site execution staff

Technical Skills
AutoCAD — proficient in 2D drafting and layout markups
MS Excel — for BOM tracking, material schedules, and reporting
Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, BOQs, and client specifications

Soft Skills
Strong analytical approach to BOM review and cost optimisation
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
Clear communication with A&D consultants, PMC teams, vendors, and clients
Problem-solving mindset on site — ability to manage difficult projects under pressure
