Urgent Hiring – Head of Department (HOD) – Grinding Division
Position: Head of Department (HOD) – Grinding Division

Location: Sector-6, Faridabad
Industry: Manufacturing / Precision Engineering / Automotive / Bearing
Experience: 12–18 Years (Minimum 5 Years in a Leadership Role)
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline
Salary: Best in Industry (Negotiable) 10-12 LPA

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all CNC and conventional grinding operations.
Achieve production targets while maintaining quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
Optimize machine utilization, manpower planning, and workflow efficiency.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure preventive maintenance for maximum machine availability.
Improve OEE, reduce downtime, grinding wheel consumption, coolant usage, and manufacturing costs.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
Lead and mentor production engineers, supervisors, operators, and support teams.
Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, Stores, and Supply Chain.
Maintain ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, 5S, and safety standards.
Prepare departmental performance reports and implement strategic operational improvements.

Required Technical Skills:
Extensive experience in CNC Cylindrical, Centerless, Surface, Internal, and Profile Grinding.
Strong understanding of grinding technologies, machining principles, and CNC grinding machines.
Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, precision measuring instruments, grinding wheels, abrasives, coolants, and dressing systems.
Proven experience in Automotive, Bearing, Precision Engineering, Aerospace, or Heavy Engineering industries.
