Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with experience in Conveyor and Material Handling Equipment design. The candidate will be responsible for managing complete design cycles, ensuring design accuracy, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects successfully.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Conveyor & Material Handling Equipment systems.
Own the complete project design cycle from concept to release.
Prepare BOMs, detailed drawings, and maintain drawing release discipline.
Freeze designs before procurement activities.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Site teams.
Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and timelines.
Ensure documentation, revision control, and design compliance.
Mentor and guide junior design engineers.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Excellent problem-solving and technical decision-making skills.
Strong project ownership and coordination capabilities.
Knowledge of manufacturing and material handling equipment design.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Timely completion of design deliverables.
Accurate BOM preparation and drawing releases.
