Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Quality Head to lead the complete Quality function for a Sheet Metal & Fabrication – Auto Parts Manufacturing organization.
The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in the Sheet Metal, Fabrication, and Automobile Components Manufacturing Industry and should be capable of managing quality systems, customer requirements, process quality, and a quality team.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Management
Lead and manage the overall Quality Department.
Establish and maintain quality standards for sheet metal and fabrication processes.
Monitor incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
Ensure consistent product quality and process compliance.
Identify quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Process & Production Quality
Monitor quality across Press Shop, Welding, Fabrication, and Assembly processes.
Drive process improvement and defect reduction initiatives.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for quality problems.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor rejection, rework, customer complaints, and quality-related KPIs.

Customer Quality
Handle customer quality issues, complaints, and feedback.
Coordinate with customers for quality-related requirements and approvals.
Ensure timely closure of customer complaints and corrective actions.
Maintain customer-specific quality standards and documentation.

Quality Systems & Documentation
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, process documentation, and quality MIS.
Ensure implementation of quality procedures and standards.
Support internal and external audits.
Drive continuous improvement and quality awareness across the organization.

Team Management
Lead, train, and develop the Quality team.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments.
Ensure effective communication of quality requirements across the shop floor.

Candidate Requirements
10–15 Years of Experience in the Sheet Metal Industry
Must have experience in Sheet Metal & Fabrication Auto Parts Manufacturing
Strong knowledge of automobile component manufacturing processes
Experience in Quality Management / Quality Leadership roles
Strong problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis skills
Experience in customer quality handling and complaint resolution
Good team management and leadership abilities
Strong communication and coordination skills

Education
Diploma / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering? Must-Have Industry Experience
