  JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage day-to-day procurement operations, including vendor coordination, purchase order management, delivery follow-ups, price negotiation, and coordination with R&D/Production teams.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with MS Excel, ERP systems, BOMs, and mechanical/engineering drawings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Vendor Coordination & Procurement

Coordinate with vendors for order placement, follow-up and delivery tracking.

Negotiate pricing, lead times and payment terms.

Maintain vendor databases and performance records.

Resolve delivery delays, quality issues and discrepancies.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate better commercial terms.

Purchase Planning & Documentation

Raise and track Purchase Orders in Odoo ERP against BOM requirements.

Maintain PO logs, price history and procurement tracking sheets in Excel.

Coordinate with R&D/Production as per BOM and production schedules.

Proactively follow up on open POs to prevent material shortages.

Technical Coordination

Read and interpret mechanical/engineering drawings to identify parts, specifications and tolerances.

Coordinate with R&D regarding drawing revisions and technical clarifications.

Communicate part specifications accurately with vendors.

Support incoming quality checks against drawing specifications when required.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

2–4 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in automotive or mechanical manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of MS Excel – VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, tracking sheets, etc.

Ability to read and understand mechanical/engineering drawings.

Strong vendor coordination, negotiation and follow-up skills.

Experience in Purchase Order management and procurement documentation.

Based in or willing to work from Faridabad/NCR.

 GOOD TO HAVE

Experience with Odoo ERP or similar ERP systems.

Exposure to auto-components / heavy commercial vehicle manufacturing.

Basic understanding of GD&T and drawing tolerances.
