Position: Quality Engineer – PPAP Documentation

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in sheet metal components and tractor parts manufacturing. The candidate should have hands-on experience in quality assurance, PPAP documentation, PPM calculations, and quality system documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation as per customer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain PPM (Parts Per Million) reports, calculations, and quality performance data.
- Handle APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow Diagram, and Inspection Standards.
- Prepare and maintain MSA, SPC, and capability study reports (Cp/Cpk), wherever applicable.
- Monitor customer complaints, rejection analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct root cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and other quality tools.
- Coordinate with production, process engineering, and customer quality teams.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific quality requirements and applicable standards.
- Maintain inspection reports, rejection records, and other quality-related documentation.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and continuous improvement activities.

Candidate Requirements
- Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: 3–6 years in Quality Assurance / Quality Control.
- Industry Experience: Must have experience in a sheet metal or tractor parts manufacturing company.
- Technical Skills: PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, PPM calculation, SPC, MSA, 5 Why, and 8D.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings, measuring instruments, and customer quality requirements.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and coordination skills.
