About the Company
manufacturing company looking for an experienced Production Head to manage and oversee its heavy fabrication operations. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, shop-floor management, manpower utilization, quality, productivity, and timely execution of manufacturing orders.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
Plan, schedule, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
Ensure timely completion of fabrication jobs as per delivery schedules.
Manage production targets, workflow, and machine utilization.
Heavy Fabrication Operations
Handle heavy fabrication processes involving cutting, bending, welding, fit-up, assembly, and finishing.
Manage fabrication of heavy structures, equipment, frames, and industrial components.
Ensure proper utilization of welding machines, CNC cutting machines, cranes, and other fabrication equipment.
Manpower Management
Lead and manage supervisors, engineers, welders, fitters, fabricators, and helpers.
Allocate manpower according to production priorities.
Improve workforce productivity and discipline.
Quality & Process Control
Coordinate with the Quality Department to maintain fabrication standards.
Ensure welding quality, dimensional accuracy, and proper inspection.
Reduce rejection, rework, and material wastage.
Cost & Productivity Control
Monitor production costs and material consumption.
Improve operational efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
Implement process improvements and productivity-enhancement initiatives.
Safety & Maintenance
Ensure implementation of workplace safety standards.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize machine breakdowns.
Maintain 5S and housekeeping on the shop floor.

Required Skills & Competencies
Strong experience in heavy fabrication and engineering manufacturing.
Excellent knowledge of welding, cutting, bending, fit-up, and assembly processes.
Experience in production planning and shop-floor management.
Ability to manage large teams of skilled and unskilled workers.
Knowledge of fabrication drawings and engineering specifications.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of ISO, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and productivity improvement.
